Happy November! I hope you all had a lovely October. For me, the month felt like it went on forever - but that's possibly because I had a lot going on. I got to take a break from work and visit one of my best friends, and I also got to read a lot! I … Continue reading October wrap-up
September Wrap-up
Happy October! I hope the month has started off well for all of you, and that you had a lovely September! This post is a little late because I was unwell last week (what a lovely way to end the month /s) and was unable to post. My September was mostly good! Like I said, … Continue reading September Wrap-up
Hi everyone! Happy September! Wow, I cannot believe we're in the last 1/4 of 2022, time really flies by. My August was good but the second half felt really slow. I also don't feel like I read much - despite the fact I read 8 books, most of this was done in the first two … Continue reading August Wrap-Up
july wrap up
Happy August! I hope you're all doing well. I can't believe we're already so far into 2022 - autumn is just around the corner! July was, for the most part, a good month! I got to take a break from work and also see some friends. I also read a lot, surprisingly! I read 8 … Continue reading july wrap up
the july book haul
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and had a lovely July! I cannot believe we're already at the end of the month. I was able to get some new books this month while I was in Scotland for a few days. I'm really excited to start reading them all, so lets jump in. … Continue reading the july book haul
Hi everyone, and happy July!
I hope everyone is doing well and had a lovely June! It was a bit of weird month for me, starting off really well and then some hurdles in the middle, but we made it to July!
I read a lot in June, mostly because I spent a lot of time avoiding my problems by reading. Love some escapism. I read 11 books and 1 whole manga series, putting me way ahead of schedule for my goodreads goal for this year.
I hope everyone had a lovely May. The month seemed to last forever, at least for me. I spent the first half trying to get as much work done as possible, and the last week I had a break from work and got to hang out with friends.
I thought I didn’t read much during this month because I had so much to do, but according to goodreads I read 7 books! This includes 3 ARCs, so I’m glad I’ve been able to get through those.
Hi everyone! Happy May!
I hope that everyone is doing well. April was an eventful month - between ramadan and Eid and work, it was a lot. Somehow I still managed to find the time to read, and much more than I expected! I read 8 books and 3 manga volumes, and I enjoyed most of them! There was only one book I rated 5 stars in April, but you can't win them all.
Beat the Backlist: To-read list
It's already May and I have not managed to whittle down my extensive to-read list. In fact, I think it's grown over the past few months. So - I thought it would be a good idea to tackle it head on and take on the Beat The Backlist challenge.
So many of these books have just been sitting in my tbr for far too long, and I'm eager to hop into it!
Animal Crossing Readathon Wrap-up
I hope everyone is doing well and having a lovely Monday. I can't believe it's mid-April already! The Animal Crossing Readathon is now over, and I had so much fun hosting and taking part in it. I kind of reached all my reading goals for it - I swapped one of my original prompts out for another, but I did read all the other books I added to my list for the readathon. I enjoyed them all, giving four of them 5 stars.
I also thought it would be fun to make a little build in Animal Crossing for some of the books I read, since it fits with the readathon and I was having so much fun doing this with the Animal Crossing Challenge I had with Cossette @ teatimelit.
